Hardwood Help!

I know this is a weird request, but does anyone have a good suggestion for cleaning hardwood floors? Some people tell you to only use water, some say don't use water, and some say to only use a special hardwood floor cleaner. I'm so confused and my floor is in desperate need of a good spring cleaning! Any suggestions are appreciated!!

I've been using mop & glow and really like it. I like the smell and shine. I got the "kit" that came with a mop. However, I'm no expert.

No expert here either, but my Mom was told by some "professional" to "only" use water! I have no idea, but just thought I would tell you that! Futhermore...LOVE the picture of you guys at the top!!!

Shawn, what kind of hardwood... real or laminate? If it's real, Murphy's all the way. If it's laminate, you can use a warm water/white vinegar combo (the smell will dissipate!), or you can use a non-abrasive cleaner. My company recommends Bruce Hardwood & Laminate floor cleaner if you can find it in a local store. I can get you a sample if you like; just let me know!
